Repairing the Stove-Top Igniter of a Maytag Performa

Maytag Performa oven ranges are manufactured in both gas and electric models. Each gas model is equipped with igniters for the inside of the oven and the stove top. The stove-top igniter creates a flame from the gas supply line to produce heat through the burners. If the igniter breaks or fails, the burner assembly will not function. Replace the faulty igniter with a new component to repair your Mayag Performa stove.
