How to Get to the Igniter on a Roper Gas Dryer

Roper automatic gas dryers are manufactured by the Whirlpool company. They are produced in a wide range of models, each with a distinct set of features. The igniter inside each model creates the spark needed to produce a flame from the gas supply. If the igniter is defective or damaged, it will not function properly. The dryer must be partially disassembled in order to get to the igniter to replace it.
