Identify air-purifier parts, functions, features and indicator lights. Locate the positions of all parts and lights, and determine which parts can be put in water and which cannot.
Unplug the air purifier.
Lay it on its side with the hinged cover up, and press the "Cover Release" button to remove the cover.
Pull the pre-filter straight up and out, and rinse it thoroughly with water. Let it air-dry, and then slide the filter back into its slot.
Pull the Truman Collector Cell straight up and out by its handle. Soak it in a tub with warm water and mild liquid detergent to remove grime, and then rinse it thoroughly with clean water. Shake excess water from the cell, and replace the unit in its slots. Dry the Truman Cell with the unit's drying mode. Hold down the "Power" button until the center halo light flashes three times, the unit switches to medium speed and the collector cell light begins to blink, all at the same time. Drying mode will continue for one hour and then automatically reset the unit.
Lift the odor absorber gently from the unit with the two tabs at the top. Insert the new odor absorber, fold down the tabs and secure the top.
Remove the pre-filter, Truman Cell and the odor absorber. Clean the front face of the Catalytic Oxygenator filter with a vacuum and a soft brush attachment.
Open the top cover, and remove the cleaning brush. Brush away any deposits in the exhaust grill slots, and then return the brush to storage.
