How Do I Troubleshoot a Snapping Noise on an Air Purifier?

According to AirPurifier.com, nearly every make and model of effective air purifiers make some type of noise --- although some are much easier to stand than others. By using different pitches, air purifiers emit noises ranging from unnoticeable to annoying. The higher the pitch, the more an air purifier will emit a whining sound. The lower the pitch, the more comfortable the sound will be to the human ear. Regardless, any air purifier that is removing toxic elements from its environment is going to make some type of noise.
