How to Reset an Ionic Breeze Quadra

The Ionic Breeze Quadra was an air purifier manufactured by The Sharper Image retail company prior to it filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2008. When the elements inside the Ionic Breeze Quadra build up with airborne dust and other materials, the machine automatically shuts off to prevent damage to the unit. To reset the appliance you need to clean the internal elements and other parts. The process is uncomplicated but does take 24 hours to complete.

Instructions

  Unplug the Ionic Breeze Quadra from the outlet.

  Lift the collection grid out of its compartment.

  Wipe down the collection bars with a damp cloth for a quick cleaning to remove dust and dirt. Lay the collection grid on a towel and allow it to air dry completely before replacing it in the Quadra unit.

  Wash the collection grid with warm soapy water for a more thorough cleaning. Rinse the grid with clean water and allow it to air dry on a towel for 24 hours. Using it before it is completely dry can damage the unit.

  Turn the Quadra unit housing upside down gently several times to shake out any remaining dust and dirt.

  Replace the collection grid in the Ionic Breeze Quadra.

  Make sure the unit is completely dry. Plug the Ionic Breeze Quadra back into the outlet.
