How to Install a Carbon Filter in a Sears Air Purifier

Sears Kenmore air purifiers come with disposable HEPA carbon filters that should be replaced on a regular basis. Sears recommends replacing the filter every one to two years. If the filter turns medium brown and air volume dramatically decreases, the filter needs to be replaced. Installing a new, clean carbon filter in the air purifier will allow it to operate more efficiently.
