Verify that the Ionic Pro is plugged into a working power supply if it is not working or the power light does not illuminate. Press the "On" button and reset the household circuit breaker if necessary. Make sure the front access panel is closed firmly.
Turn off and unplug the unit if the red "Clean" light is illuminated. Locate the wire-cleaning lever on the side of the unit and move the lever up and down several times to clean the ionizing wires. Pull on the collection blade latch near the top of the unit and pull the collection blades out. Touch the collection blades to another metal surface, such as a metal pipe or faucet, to ground any residual electricity. Wipe the blades with a clean, damp cloth and then dry with a soft towel. Replace the collection blade unit in the machine. Wait several minutes before restoring power to the unit.
Turn off the unit and follow step 2 if the unit is making excessive noise during operation. Instead of just wiping the collection blades clean, however, use a damp cloth and warm soapy water to clean the collection blades. Rinse and allow 24 hours to air dry before reassembling the unit.
