# How to Install the LG Electronics LD65EL Dehumidifier
The LG LD65EL dehumidifier can help any home get rid of extra moisture that may be building up. Moisture build-up within the home can cause mold, which can lead to health concerns. Dehumidifiers collect the moisture in the air and deposit it into a receptacle. Virtually any room in your home that suffers from high humidity can be remedied with a dehumidifier.

Locate the room where you want to place the dehumidifier; this will be the room with excess moisture or humidity. Place the unit on a level surface.

Set the filter and collecting tray into the dehumidifier. Plug the unit into the closest wall outlet.

Set the dehumidifying settings. Press "Timer" to set it to two or four hours. Press "Fan Speed" to "High" or "Low." Press up or down on the "Humidity Control" to raise or lower the humidity percentage.

Press "Power" to turn on and start the dehumidifier.
