Edenpure Air Instructions

EdenPURE air purifiers are useful for areas polluted by smoke, bacteria, mildew or mold. They are designed to simultaneously remove odors from the air and sterilize airborne pathogens. The unit may also be activated to generate negative ions that cause atmospheric dust particles to clump together and fall to the floor for easy clean-up. Additional features of EdenPURE purifiers include a quiet three-speed fan, a wireless remote controller, a replaceable ultraviolet light bulb and washable filters.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Unit

    • 1

Keep the unit unplugged from the electrical source before setting it up. Place the purifier on a flat surface with the filter on the back of the unit facing you. Manually unscrew the four corner screws. You do not need a screwdriver.

    • 2

Remove the filter by pulling on its handle -- a metal pull located between the top two screws. Remove any protective tape or inside cushioning.

    • 3

Ensure the catalytic screen and the purification plate are fully inserted and physically secure. Replace the rear filter and screws.

    • 4

Place the EdenPURE air purifier on a dry surface. The manufacturer recommends that the back of the unit have a 1 inch area of space around it for unrestricted airflow.

    Operate the Unit

    • 5

Insert manufacturer-approved batteries into the EdenPURE remote controller. Place the positive side of the batteries downward, facing the bottom of the remote.

    • 6

Plug your EdenPURE air purifier into a three-prong electrical outlet.

    • 7

Power on the air purifier's fan using the remote control or the "On/Off" switch located at the front of the unit.

    • 8

Set the current time on the purifier by pressing the "Time/Set" button twice in the middle of the remote or the middle of the front control panel on the air purifier. Set the hour by pressing the "Purify" buttons above and below the "Time/Set" button on the remote or on the far right of the purifier's front control panel. Set the minutes with the "Fan" buttons to the right and left of the "Time/Set" remote button or next to the "Purify" buttons on the purifier's front control panel. Wait five seconds for the time to set.

    • 9

Press the air purifier's "Fan" buttons again to adjust the purifier's airflow speed using either the remote control or the front control panel.

    • 10

Adjust the purification level by pressing the "Purify" buttons on the remote control or the air purifier's front control panel.

    • 11

Press the "Sterilize" button once to reduce pathogens in the air. This button is next to the upper row "Fan" button on the purifier's front control panel and it is at the far bottom left on the remote. The interior ultraviolet lightbulb shines when the sterilization feature is activated. Press "Sterilize" once more to turn it off.

    • 12

Press the "Anion" button once to magnetize all dirt particles that enter the purifier. "Anion" is next to the bottom row "Fan" button on the purifier's front control panel and it is at the far bottom right on the remote. When negative ions are generated, a neon light shines and the air purification feature automatically stops. You may, however, use the sterilization feature during anion operation. Press "Anion" again to stop it.

    • 13

Press the "Sleep" button to turn off all the lights while the unit is in operation. "Sleep" is next to "Sterilize" on the purifier's front control panel. It is in upper left corner of the remote. Press any button on the front panel of the purifier to stop the sleep feature.
