  • Dishwasher detergent

      Fill a sink, tub or large container with hot water; the container should hold enough water to submerge the electronic collecting cell in your air cleaner.

      Dissolve 3/4 cup of dishwasher detergent into the water. Agitate the water until it forms suds.

      Soak the electronic collecting cell for 20 minutes to remove dirt and dust. Agitate the cell to properly remove all dust, dirt and contaminants.
