How do I put a Clean Filter in an Oreck XL Signature Air Purifier?

The Oreck XL Signature Air Purifier cleans the air in a room by collecting dust, smoke, pollen and other small particles on the electronic filter cell located within the unit. The air purifier has a "Wash Cell" indicator that will light up when the unit determines that the filter cell needs to be cleaned. Oreck recommends cleaning the filter cell every four to eight weeks even if the indicator light does not come on. The filter cell must be handled with care so the metal plates and wires do not break during cleaning.
