The Pulsar card has the ability to utilize 20 different channels of audio input, along with features for MIDI sound control, real-time mixing and software synthesis capabilities.
The Pulsar card contains MIDI In, Out and Thru ports for plugging in audio devices. Additionally, two sets of ADAT-compliant optical connectors are included, although they are not labeled specifically on the card.
The included software with the Pulsar card contains a central repository for selecting audio devices and modules, along with synth effects, mixing and control effects all available from the standard user interface.
The Pulsar card can operate at either 96, 48, 44.1, or 32Hz, allowing for either 16 or 24-bit sound.
