     Turn off and unplug the Sunbeam air conditioner prior to cleaning. Allow the unit to come to a complete stop.

     Locate the filter on the center of the air inlet grille, grasp the handle and pull it up to remove.

     Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner brush attachment to remove extra dirt. Wash with soapy water and rinse and dry completely before sliding the filter back into place.

     Wipe the exterior of the air conditioner, including the grilles, with a clean, damp cloth to remove excess dust and dirt.

     Let the air conditioner dry completely before restoring power.
