Check that the unit connects to a working source of power if you are getting no response from the unit. Also check whether the circuit breaker governing that power source has tripped (if so, reset it) and look for any loose connections or wires that appear to be damaged.
Add fluid if the refrigerant levels are too low, indicated by a loss of charge as the compressor cycles run. You should also add refrigerant if the expansion valve starts to hiss.
Look for vibrating pipes as the industrial chiller runs its normal cooling cycle. This could indicate unsupported or badly fitting and loose pipes. Visually inspect the unit for loose pipes and have an engineer replace them.
Look around the base of the machine for any sign of fluid leaks. If there is oil seeping from the chiller, this indicates broken seals somewhere on the unit. Trace the leak back to the source if possible and replace the seal.
