How to Remove a Pop-Up Sprinkler Head

In the spring, you might need to flush your sprinkler system of debris that has accumulated inside the irrigation pipes over the winter. To do this, you’ll need to remove the spray heads. While some spray heads can be fully removed, others can’t. In this latter case, you can still remove the spray head nozzle and flush the system and the sprinkler without removing the entire sprinkler body. Don’t forget to put the spray heads or nozzles in a safe place until the flushing process is complete.
