Remove the cover from the interior side of the air conditioner. The cover is on the roof and looks like a vent. The cover is held on by clips that you slide back to unlock. Once the cover is off, you will see four bolts and a wire harness.
Unbolt the four bolts that hold the unit down using a wrench.
Unplug the wire harness. Push in the tab on the unit to unplug the wire harness.
Go up to the roof and with an assistant, tilt the unit back, and then lift it off the gasket.
Pull up the old gasket and wipe along the channel with a cloth to remove any buildup.
Lay the new gasket down along the channel and push it down into place.
Lay the unit back into place on top of the gasket.
Go back inside of the RV and plug the wire harness back in.
Insert the four bolts back into place and use the wrench to tighten them. The bolts should be tight but do not force them. The bolts need a little play so that the unit does not crack the gasket.
