7 sheets white 7-count plastic canvas
3 sheets clear plastic canvas, 12 inches by 18 inches

Instructions

  Find the pattern for the furniture you want to make. There are many types of furniture you can make out of plastic canvas and most of them have the same frame with different accessories sewn on to make them different.

  Cut the plastic canvas according to the pattern chosen with scissors. Make sure to count the number of squares accurately. The patterns of 10-count furniture is for fashion dolls.

  Cut out the same shapes in the clear canvas with scissors. These shapes are the reinforcement of the white sheets.

  Choose the color the piece of furniture will be by choosing a color of yarn. Thread the yarn into the #16 tapestry needle.

  Stitch the white canvas and the clear canvas pieces together in the middle of each piece. Stitch the middles together so that the stitches don't interfere with connecting the pieces later.

  Start connecting the leg pieces to the seat piece by threading the yarn through the squares on the edges of the legs and into the edge squares of the seat. Tie off the yarn once the legs and seat are connected.

  Stitch the seat to the back of the piece in the same connecting manner. Repeat this process for the arms of the piece of furniture.

  Weave a design into the furniture to add style or create cushions out of fabric and stuffing.
