Locate the wall or freestanding furniture where you will place your whiteboard. Ensure that the surface is smooth and clean. Measure the space carefully, and determine the dimensions of your whiteboard. When measuring a curved surface, use a flexible tape measure for the most accurate results.
Purchase a flexible dry erase sheet or thin piece of tileboard from a home improvement store. Obtain at least enough square footage to cover the area you have designated for the whiteboard.
Cut the whiteboard sheet to the appropriate size and shape. For thin dry erase sheets, use scissors or a paper cutter to make straight cuts. Ask the staff at the home improvement store to cut it for you when purchasing, or cut it at home with a circular saw.
Attach the board to the curved surface, using glue or adhesive. Dry erase sheets typically have an adhesive backing, which you peel and affix. Apply glue to other types of boards, and then press or clamp it into place.
