Decide on the size of the bottom drawer face height. This is the largest drawer in the piece of furniture.
Choose an increment number to use for arithmetic progression. The number you use determines the size of each successive drawer for your design.
Subtract your chosen increment number from the measurement of the bottom drawer height to determine the height of the next drawer up. For example, if the bottom drawer is 10 inches and your increment number is 1, then the next drawer's height would be 9 inches (10 - 1).
Take the height of the second drawer, calculated in Step 3, and subtract the increment number to determine the height of the third drawer from the bottom.
Continue to subtract the increment number from each drawer height to determine the height of the next drawer up in your furniture design.
