Instructions

  1. Coffee Can Lunch Box

    • 1

Take an old coffee can and remove any paper attached to it. The coffee can should be smooth of any glue or leftover paper. The key is to make sure the coffee can is free of debris or dirt before beginning to recreate into a lunch box.

    • 2

Paint the coffee can the color of your choice. Let it dry.

    • 3

Glue the back of the old spoon or fork to the lid of the coffee can. Press down to attach the utensil to the glue and lid. Let the glue holding the utensil to the coffee can dry completely before continuing.

    • 4

Apply clear glue to the top of the coffee can lid. Add some glitter for a shiny effect.

    • 5

Place stickers on the bottom of the coffee can. Stickers can be a way of finishing off the lunch box and can add color.

    • 6

Use bottle paint in a tube and write out the name of the lunch box owner. You can buy paint tubes at any department store with a crafts section.

    Money Box Lunch Box

    • 7

Wipe the money box clean using a wet paper towel. Dry the money box with a dry paper towel.

    • 8

Paint the money box using the paint of your choice. Let it dry completely.

    • 9

Apply clear glue around the edges of the money box. Add glitter for a shiny, sparkled effect.

    • 10

Use tube paint to write the lunch box owner's name on the bottom of the money box. Use a different color than the color used for the lunch box to make it more colorful.

    • 11

Finish the money box lunch box by adding stickers on the interior.
