Height Gauge

• Abram uses an AngleWright Tool Co. height gauge. The gauge features a 3-1/4-inch measuring range that covers the height of an adjustable 10-inch table saw blade. The gauge also uses two adjustment knobs--one for quick adjustments and the other to micro-tune the gauge.

R3 Rocket Jig

• When doing pocket-hole-joinery, Abram turns to the R3 Rocket Jig by Kreg Tool. The R3 comes with a clamp pad adapter, drill bits and driving bits, has a depth collar that uses hex keys for adjustments and uses five sizes of pocket-hole screws. The R3 comes packed in a carrying case for easy transport.

Osborne EB-3 Miter Gauge

• Woodworking crafts require a lot of miter cuts typically done using a miter saw and box. On "The New Yankee Workshop," Abram uses the Osborne EB-3 Miter Gauge by Excalibur in lieu of a miter saw. The EB-3 has three expansion slots designed to provide a positive fit with any saw. The gauge has an easy and accurate zero calibration adjustment. It works on either side of the saw blade and has easy to read settings.

Lamello Dosicol

• When using wooden biscuits to join parts, Abram reaches for the Lamello Dosicol glue tool by Colonial Saw. The container features a large opening that puts on just the right amount of glue. The container comes with a stand and a water tank for daily cleaning maintenance.

Jack Rabbit Deluxe Set

• This tool set drills, countersinks and drives fasteners quicker than other similar tools. Giffin Tec makes the Jack Rabbit Deluxe set and it features four sizes of four-fluted countersinks, four split-point drill bits, two Jack Rabbit flip bits and a no-burn, self-cleaning brass depth stop.

Lightweight Woodworkers Shop Brush

• This boar bristle brush made by Opie Brush Company is indispensable for the woodworker. It does not scratch or mar wood, the fibers have a natural charge to attract dust and it’s made in the United States.

Roundover and Beading Set

• Abram uses this collection of bits on almost every project. Made by Whiteside Machine Co., these bits feature 1/2-inch shanks and plenty of carbide. The set comes with 1/4-, 3/8-, 1/2- and 3/4-inch rounding over bits. The set also includes four bearings and a 1-3/32-inch hex wrench.
