Instructions

    • 1

Lay the frame out on a flat surface. Position the frame in the way it should look when it is assembled.

    • 2

Place the top piece and one of the side pieces into the corner clamp. Take special care to ensure they are positioned as they were on the table. Align the pieces so that they are even and fit together without any spaces or flaws.

    • 3

Remove one piece from the clamp leaving the other in the clamp tightly. Apply a thick layer of glue onto the entire inside corner of the removed piece. Return this piece to the clamp pushing it against its counterpart. Check to make sure glue is on both pieces by gently sliding the pieces apart slightly. Once this is confirmed return the pieces together and tighten the clamp securely.

    • 4

Countersink a brad in the each corner using a hammer and nail set tool. Once the brad is under the surface level, fill the hole with the wax type filler.

    • 5

Allow the two pieces to remain in the clamp for a minimum of 10 minutes. Remove the two peices from the clamp and lay on a flat surface. The bottom frame piece and the other side of the frame can now be assembled using the same steps as above. Once complete, allow the glue on both pieces to set for at least an hour.

Glue together the remaining two corners following the previous steps.
