How to Garden Vegetables With Spinosyn

Spinosyn A and Spinosyn D are the active ingredients in Spinosad, an insecticide labeled for organic gardening. The product controls leafminers, borers, beetles and thrips as well as other insects on ornamental plants, grass, fruit and vegetable crops. The chemical kills pests within two days of application and can be reapplied, if the insect returns, at various intervals depending on the vegetable crop. Do not exceed 3 gallons of prepared insecticide per 1,000 square feet of vegetable garden.
