How to Plant with Black Cow

You don't need to live on, or even near, a dairy farm to avail your garden of the benefits of cow manure. Nurseries and garden centers carry huge bags of cow manure, and Black Kow is one popular brand. Composted cow manure helps improve soil texture and adds nutrients to the soil. Rather than relying on chemical fertilizers, many gardeners replenish the garden soil's nutrients, naturally, with composted manure. The best time to add composted manure to the soil is before planting.
