How to Remove Flower Stains From Cement

Flowers, while pretty to look and nice to smell, can leave annoying stains. Flower stains are common on clothing, like jeans and shoes, but can also appear on other items like cement. Just rinsing with water or waiting for a heavy downpour of rain to eradicate the flower stain isn't likely to work. To remove flower stains from concrete, you will need a few cleaning supplies and a healthy amount of elbow grease.

Things You'll Need

  • Washing soda
  • Water

  • Scrub brush

Instructions

    • 1

Mix 1 part washing soda to 1 part water directly into your bucket. You should be able to purchase washing soda at your local grocery or hardware store.

    • 2

Dip your scrub brush into your bucket.

    • 3

Scrub the flower stain with your scrub brush. Use firm pressure, and change the motion as you go. You may find that starting with a circular motion, then switching to a back-and-forth motion works best. If the stain is stubborn, apply the washing soda directly to the concrete and scrub.

Rinse the washing soda away with your garden hose. Allow the cement to air dry. If the stain is still noticeable, repeat.
