How to Install Outside Hose Holders to a Brick Wall

If you're tired of tripping over your garden hose, get it off the ground and keep it neat and organized with a hose holder. One of the most common styles of hose holder is a simple round holder that's mounted to an outside wall of the house. These holders have an integrated bracket at the top with two or three screw holes. In most cases you install it by placing the holder in the desired position, inserting screws through the holes and tightening them into the wall. But if your outside wall is brick, you'll need to add a step or two.
