How to Convert an Electric Blower With a Manual Vac

Electric leaf blowers are a tool used by homeowners and some landscaping companies. Some companies that manufacture leaf blowers add a vacuum function to the leaf blower, which includes bagger that attaches to one end of the blower. Once powered up, the blower acts like a vacuum and sucks the leaves into the bagger. The leaves can later be manually dumped into garbage bags or trash cans.

Instructions

    • 1

Line up the notches and triangles ion the upper and lower sections of the vacuum blower tube and then slide them together into one piece. Press the tube release at the base of the blower and pull the leaf blower tube away from the machine to remove it. Slide the vacuum blower tube into place.

    • 2

Slip the bag rim into the bag holder channel making sure the front of the bag fits over the vacuum outlet.

    • 3

Slide the rest of the bag into the channel and then flip the locking latch downward to lock the bag into place.

    • 4

Plug the outdoor extension cord into the power outlet on the unit.

    • 5

Set the selection switch to the debris and leaves setting and then flip the power switch on to use.
