How to Replace the Gas Tank for a Poulan Weed Eater

The Poulan Weed Eater is a gas-powered lawn trimmer used for handling weeds that growth close to the bottom of fences, in ditches and along the foundations of houses. The Poulan weed eater is equipped with a two-cycle gas engine, which means the gas and oil are mixed together and added to the plastic fuel tank. The fuel tank on the trimmer is made of fairly sturdy plastic, but that isn't to say it is immune to all damages. If the gas tank develops a leak, or is cracked or damaged in some way it should be replaced.

Insert the new fuel line onto the port at the bottom of the new gas tank.

    • 7

Fill the new gas tank with the gasoline-oil mixture and place the cap on.
