How to Disconnect the Injector on a Karcher Power Washer

Karcher power washers operate with a variety of optional tools to accommodate different cleaning jobs. An injector for a Karcher power washer is a T-shaped pipe with bayonet-style connectors for hooking up to the power washer valve and the pressure wand. A detachable compartment on the injector can be filled with cleaning chemicals to suit a variety of tasks. Pressurized water from the power washer flows through the injector, where it mixes with the chemical additive in the compartment and flows through the wand. Disconnecting an injector is a simple task, once you know how to do it -- otherwise, it might seem possible. Once you've figure it out it takes only a second.
