Husky 2200 Power Washer With 5 HP Engine Instructions

The Husky 2200 Power Washer gets it name because it can produce water pressure of up to 2,200 pounds per square inch, using a Briggs & Stratton gasoline engine. The official model number of the Husky gasoline-powered washer is HU80522. The power washer takes water coming from your garden hose and turns the flow into a high-pressure stream you can use to clean sidewalks, driveways, decks and equipment.

Instructions

    • 1

Check the engine oil level using the dipstick built into the oil cap. Add 30W engine oil if necessary. Fill the fuel tank with regular gasoline, using a funnel.

    • 2

Connect the high-pressure sprayer hose to the threaded nipple on the lower front of the power washer. The end of the hose goes into the threaded nipple, and the collar tightens onto the threads. Attach the garden hose to the water intake next to the pressure hose.

    • 3

Turn on the water to the garden hose, then squeeze the trigger on the pressure wand until a stream of water indicates the air is out of the pressure-washer system.

    • 4

Press the primer bulb located next to the fuel cap three times, take the slack out of the starter rope, and give the starter rope a brisk pull to start the engine.

    • 5

Squeeze the trigger on the sprayer wand to start the high-pressure spray. Hold the trigger in for as long as you need the pressure spray, and let up on the trigger to stop the spray. Hold the pressure wand with both hands to better control the direction of the high-pressure spray.

    • 6

Press the Off switch next to the fuel cap for three seconds to shut off the engine and power washer.
