Bobcat is a company that specializes in the manufacturing of agricultural and farming equipment. The Bobcat brand was first used in 1962 on a skid loader. The American headquarters for Bobcat is in West Fargo, North Dakota. A skid loader is a piece of equipment with a large basket on the front that helps you pick up and move heavy objects and material; you can also use this tool when excavating or remodeling your outdoor living space. The Bobcat 843H skid loader was part of the HC-Series of skid loaders and was produced in 1989.

    • The rated operating capacity (ROC) on the Bobcat 843H is 1,700 lb. The ROC refers to the amount of weight that the skid loader can carry without tipping over. Never exceed Bobcat's ROC recommendations. If you do, then you run the danger of tipping the machine over and injuring yourself.

      This system comes with auxiliary hydraulics --- which uses hydraulic fluid to lift attachments --- and the Bob-Tach Attachment Systems, which is a Bobcat technology that helps you easily change out skid loader attachments.

    Engine

    • The pump capacity for this loader is 16.1 gallons per minute (gpm) with an auxiliary high flow of 22.3 gpm. The engine uses diesel fuel. The Bobcat 843H has a 54 horsepower engine and a liquid engine cooling unit, which keeps the engine from overheating when you are operating it. This is not a turbocharged engine.
