Bobcat Bob-Tach Specifications

The Bobcat Company is a multinational company that is part of the South Korea's Doosan Group and specializes in farming and construction equipment. It also creates its own technologies that Bobcat sells with this equipment. One such technology is the Bob-Tach attachment technology, which helps you change out attachments on different machinery, including Bobcat loaders. The Bob-Tach system was first released in 1970.
  1. Standard Bob-Tach

    • This system comes standard on different types of Bobcat attachments, including augers, landscape rakes, snow blowers and grapples. It helps you quickly change out these attachments, generally within minutes according to the Bobcat website. The Standard Bob-Tach comes standard on all Bobcat loaders, and it has been offered with these loaders since the 1970s. To add an attachment, you just need to line up the attachment with the levers and then lock the levers. This lever engages the attachment pins onto the Bob-Tach plate, and these pins help reduce wear and tear on the attachment and ensure that the attachment fits tightly.

    Power Bob-Tach

    • If you want to change out attachments without leaving your seat, request the Power Bob-Tach system. You control the attachments via a dash panel switch, which makes the Bob-Tach wedges connect to the attachment that you need to use. The Power Bob-Tach constantly sends pressure to the attachment, which helps you secure and control the attachment. It also keeps the levers locked into place. To line up the wedges to the attachment, use the ergonomic joystick on your digital panel. Maneuver your machine over the attachment, and then hit the activation switch. The Power Bob-Tach system will do the rest of the work. The Power Bob-Tach system is driven by hydraulic pressure, which uses hydraulic fluid to move items.

    Backhoe

    • The Bob-Tach Backhoe Attachment is used for excavating and removing material. It comes standard with the Bob-Tach technology, which helps you quickly add the attachment to your machine, and can move either left or right at a 48-degree angle. This backhoe attachment also features a stabilizer option, which moves the weight of your backhoe onto the attachment, helping you dig more efficiently. Use this tool for landscaping, sewage and septic tank work.
