ASV RC30 Skid Steer Specs

A skid steer loader is like having your own personal heavy-duty helper, especially when you are moving around material in your backyard or when you need to dig holes. A skid steer loader features two arms and attachments, which you can change out based on your needs. The ASV RC-30 skid loader is an all-terrain, compact skid loader, and it is only offered through Home Depot. You can purchase, or just rent if you only need the machine for a single job.
  1. Body

    • The body of the ASV RC-30 features a small, metal 2-foot-6-inch-wide cab where you sit and control the movement of the vehicle. This cab also protects you from debris, and the doors of this cab swing outward. If you forget to close this door, the skid loader will not operate. This is an important safety feature. The ASV RC-30 features all-terrain rubber track wheels, which helps you access areas without completely tearing them up, and the tracks are very thin, helping you avoid sensitive vegetation. This skid loader has two thin arms that hold your attachments, and the main attachment for this loader is a bucket.

    Power

    • The ASV RC-30 features a 31.5-horsepower diesel engine, and it travels up to 6 miles per hour (mph). It can hold up to 10 gallons of fuel, and the tipping load for this machine is 1,600 pounds. The loader's pump capacity is 10 gallons per minute (gpm), and it comes with a 3,000-pounds-per-square-inch (psi) auxiliary hydraulic flow system. The ground pressure for the ASV RC-30 is 2.5 psi, which refers to how much pressure the skid steer loader's tracks exert on the ground on which it moves. According to High Beam Research, the ground pressure is so light that you can work on shorelines, sod and turf with this machine.

    Features

    • This skid steer loader features a loader frame that attaches via bolts to a flat undercarriage, and it comes with a direct-drive motor. Because the undercarriage of the ASV RC-30 is flat, you need to clean it out often so that debris does not build up underneath it. According to High Beam Research, this loader comes with 64 "fine-cut reversible knives," which helps you cut through materials. The rollers on this loader are plastic, and it features hollow steel sprocket system tubing.
