Pour new fuel into the engine. Mix 3.2 ounces of two-cycle oil into one gallon of gas. Open the fuel cap on the left side of the motor. Pour the mixture into the engine and close the cap.
Replace the spark plug. Pull the black hose off the top of the engine to reveal the plug. Pull the plug out. Place the new plug into the housing and tighten it with a 3/4-inch socket wrench. Place the hose over the plug.
Clean the air filter. Push the button on the back of the engine to unlock the container holding the air filter. Pull the filter out and wash it in soapy water. Allow it to dry and place it back into position.
