E-137 Husqvarna Specs

The Husqvarna E-137 chainsaw is a 16-inch saw designed for use by homeowners. Intended for occasional use, its small size makes it easy to store. The Husqvarna E-137 chainsaw is reasonably powerful while also containing a number of safety and ease-of-use features.
  1. Engine, Power and Speed Features

    • The Husqvarna E-137 has a 2.0 horsepower (hp) engine with a 2.2 cubic inch cylinder displacement. The engine idles as low as 3,000 rpm and runs up to a maximum recommended engine speed of 13,000 rpm.

The Husqvarna E-137 uses a chain 3/8-inch chain pitch and a maximum chain speed of 16.3 meters/second.

The chainsaw's gas tank can contain up to 0.85 pints of gas, while the oil tank can contain up to 0.42 pints of oil.

    Safety Features

    • The Husqvarna E-137 has a chain brake which stops the chain if the inertial sensor is activated or if the hand guard is contacted. It comes with a case that covers the chain and protects the user from the cutting teeth while the saw is being transported.

The saw has a reduced-kickback bar and a reduced-kickback chain but it does not have a bar-tip guard.

    Ease-of-Use Features

    • The Husqvarna E-137 has a wraparound handle, allowing the user to change the cutting angle easily. The spring-assisted starter is designed to allow users to easily start the saw.

The chainsaw alone weighs 10.1 pounds. Accessories may add additional weight. The saw's high center of gravity allows the user to operate it more easily.

The saw has an automatic chain oiling feature that lubricates the chain and bar without user intervention. The E-137's chain cannot be adjusted without tools.

    Vibration and Noise Features

    • The Husqvarna E-137 has a composite crankcase designed to reduce vibration and noise.

The chainsaw emits sounds at 98 dB(A) and noise at 118 dB(A).

A vibration dampening system reduces the amount of vibration felt by the user by isolating the handles from the engine. The Husqvarna E-137's front portion vibrates at 4.9 m/s2, and the rear handle at 7.7 m/s2.
