How to Rate Stihl Trimmer Decibels

The Stihl 2-cycle engine is found on small power lawn tools such as leaf blowers, chain saws and trimmers. These engine's runs at over 12,000 rpm's while in the full throttle position. At such a high rpm it omits a very loud noise. Noise is measured by dB (decibels); the higher the decibels, the louder the noise is.
