How to Remove the Carburetor on a Homelite EZ Chain Saw

Homelite chain saws have a two-cycle engine that uses a mixture of oil and gasoline. The mixture is used not only as fuel but as a lubricant for the internal engine parts. The carburetor controls the mixture of fuel going to the engine. If the carburetor becomes worn, the chain saw will lose power and might not start.

Things You'll Need

  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Needle nose pliers

Set the chain saw on a flat work bench.
