How to Adjust an Auger Cable Craftsman Snow Blower

Craftsman snow blowers make it easy to clear snow from sidewalks and driveways. Occasionally, you need to adjust the snow blower so that it operates properly. The auger moves the snow into the chute so it can be blown away from the operating area. When you release the auger lever, the auger should stop turning. If the auger continues to turn after you release the handle, you need to adjust the auger cable. You can adjust the cable yourself without taking the snow blower to a professional.
