How to Remove the Bump Head Off of a Weed Eater

Weed Eater is an American company that produces and sells electric and gasoline-powered string trimmers. A string trimmer uses nylon string on a rotating head to cut grass and weeds. On most models, a length of nylon trimmer line is wound on a spool on the head of the machine, and just a small amount of the trimmer line at a time is exposed. When the line wears down as it cuts vegetation, extra line is fed from the spool as you bump the trimmer head on the ground. To replace the trimmer line, you'll have to remove the bump head (or spool).
