How do I Clean a Stihl Pole Saw Oiler?

Pole saws are used to cut down tall branches. Pole saws sold by Stihl have a chain oiler that prevents the chain from rusting. To keep the oiler clean, you have to clean the filler cap on top of the oiler. This will prevent anything from clogging the oiler.

     Set the Stihl pole saw down on a flat surface.

     Locate the oiler, a small plastic box that the pole saw chain runs through.

     Look for the filler cap on top of the oiler.

     Soak a clean washcloth in a mixture of soap and water. Wipe down the filler cap until no dirt, wood or oil is built up on the cap.
