Compact Tractors

• Cub Cadet produces two series of compact tractors: EX 2900/3200 and SX series tractors. The EX 2900/3200 tractors feature a three-range hydrostatic transmission and either a 28.7 or 32 horsepower engine. The SX series tractors feature a two-range hydrostatic transmission, and this tractor has different four-wheel-drive settings. You receive a two-year warranty on the tractor and a five-year warranty on the drivetrain and engine on both series of tractors. You can also purchase a QuickAttach loader bucket for each series, and you can use the bucket for different jobs around your yard.

Garden Tractors

• You can select from four different types of Cub Cadet lawn and garden tractors, including the 2000, 1000, 2500 and 3000 series. Garden tractors perform different duties including mowing your lawn, cutting down small bushes and converting clippings into mulch. The Series 2000 Garden Tractors are for yards up to five acres in size, and the front axle and transmission are both made out of cast iron. The Series 1000 tractor features a 12-inch turning radius, and it comes with the SmartJet system for power-washing your deck. The Series 2500 features cutting decks up to 54 inches wide, and all of these tractors have a Kohler Command V-Twin engine. The Series 3000 tractors feature cutting decks up to 60 inches wide, and come with a dual foot-pedal hydrostatic drive, which helps you navigate rough terrain.

Sub-Compact

• The sub-compact tractors are slightly larger than the compact tractors, and they allow you to perform heavy-duty landscaping work like excavating. The SC Series Tractors feature a 24 horsepower Yanmar reverse-mounted diesel engine, and these tractors have a 60-inch-wide cutting deck. The tractor comes with an electrohydraulic power take-off system and a three-point hitch position control. It features different four-wheel-drive settings, and it is sold with a two-year warranty on the tractor and a five-year warranty on the drivetrain.

Utility

• The Cub Cadet compact utility tractors include the EX 450 and LX series. The EX 450 Series features a 45 horsepower, four-cylinder Yanmar diesel engine and hydrostatic power steering. The three-point hitch can lift items up to 2,400 pounds in weight. The LX Series utility tractor hitch can lift objects as heavy as 2,700 pounds, and these tractors come with a direct-injection Yanmar diesel engine, ranging in horsepower from 41 to 48.5. This tractor has a tight turning radius, allowing you to maneuver around obstacles. These tractors come with a two-year warranty on the tractor and a five-year warranty on the drivetrain.
