How to Remove Spools on Homelite UT21947 Mighty Lite Trimmers

The Homelite UT21947 Mighty Lite line of trimmers is a gasoline-powered, light-duty trimmer for general home trimming use. Like many trimmers, it uses a bump feed knob to secure the spool to the trimmer as well as feed line out during operation. Once you run out of line, it is necessary to restring the spool or replace it with a pre-wound spool. Removing the spool on a Homelite UT21947 Mighty Lite trimmer requires removing the bump feed and spring securing the spool.
