Attachments

• The Poulan Pro PP25E brush cutter/grass trimmer comes with two heads. The grass trimmer head features a high-rotating nylon string, and the brush cutter comes with metal blades for cutting down thicker material. You can also purchase additional attachments for this tool, including a pruner attachment for shaping trees and bushes. The cultivator attachment helps you till your soil, while the edger attachment cuts grasses and weeds near driveways or flower beds. You can also purchase a blower attachment for this tool.

Specifications

• This trimmer runs on a gasoline and synthetic two-cycle, air-cooled engine oil. The ratio to gasoline to oil is 40 to 1. It uses up to 25 feet of nylon thread up to 0.080 inches in diameter. This trimmer comes with a center handle to help you better control the trimmer/cutter. The edger blade comes with a rear wheel to help you guide the machine, and both the blade and the trimmer attachments have shields to protect you while you work. The "On/Stop" switch for engine starting and stopping is near the trigger handle for easy access. This tool comes with a coupler, which helps you add attachments.

Safety/Maintenance

• Always wear long sleeves, goggles, gloves and a helmet when operating this tool, and only operate this tool during daylight hours so you can see what you're doing. Always check your device for old, loose, or damaged parts before starting it. Thoroughly clean the device after each use, including removing debris from or actually replacing the air filter. Change your spark plugs at least once a year, and get your muffler serviced after every 50 hours of use. Replace the trimmer line and edger blades as needed.

Storage

• If you don't plan on using your trimmer/cutter for more than 30 days, then completely clean out the unit and replace any old parts. Add oil to metal components located on the outside of the machine and the blades, and wrap the blades in cloth. Add fuel stabilizer to keep fuel gum deposits from forming. Always store your tool in an area where it won't get wet.
