Homelite Chainsaw Specs

Homelite's UT43100 is an electric-powered chainsaw designed for light-duty, residential use. This unit can handle limb-trimming and felling of small trees. It's also suitable for cutting small diameter firewood. The ergonomics of the UT43100 are homeowner-friendly and include a wrap-around handle with soft hand grip and a cord-retention system to prevent accidental power disconnects. The UT43100 comes fully assembled.
  1. Motor

    • The UT43100 is powered by a 9-amp, 60 Hz electric motor driving a seven-tooth gear sprocket. It requires a 120-volt AC electrical connection. Homelite's electric drive system is double-insulated for user safety. Double-insulated tools do not require a three-prong grounded plug. A switch lockout feature prevents the motor from being started inadvertently.

    Guide Bar And Chain

    • The chain guide bar is 14 inches long and features a Safe-T-Tip to reduce accidental kick-back of the saw. The saw's 14-inch chain is a low-kickback, skip tooth 3/8-inch type with a .050-inch chain gauge and 52 cutting links. The tool-less chain tensioner features an adjusting knob to modify tension.

    Lubrication

    • The UT43100 chain is self-oiling. Chain oil is automatically dispensed from a six-ounce reservoir. The Quick View oil indicator allows you to check the oil level visually. Homelite recommends checking the chain oil after every 20 minutes of use. Only Homelite Bar and Chain lubricant is approved for use in the UT43100.

    Weight

    • The dry weight of the UT43100 is 7.8 lbs.
