How to Adjust the Oil on a Stihl 044 Chainsaw

Proper maintenance of the Stihl 044 chainsaw will ensure consistent operation of the tool and prevent time-consuming and potentially costly repairs. Setting the chain tension to the appropriate tautness and oiling the chainsaw adequately are part of essential preventative maintenance. Failure to adjust the oil properly will shorten the life of the Stihl chainsaw's chain and prevent it from cutting as smoothly and efficiently as it can.
