Expand-It Brush Cutter Instructions

Line and string trimmers work well when cutting ordinary grass from your lawn, but larger weeds, small limbs and shrubs require a brush cutter fitted with a blade to cut through them. Ryobi manufactures a 26 cc power head that runs several different attachments. The Expand-It system allows you to change your string trimmer to a brush cutter in just minutes to tackle the tough jobs.

Place the trimmer on a bare, flat surface. Press the primer bulb 10 times to add fuel to the carburetor. Set the choke on "Full Choke." Squeeze the throttle trigger and pull the starter rope until the engine starts and then dies.
