Mowing

• John Deere lawn tractors, equipped with either a belt or shaft-driven mowing deck, should have its blades sharpened regularly to properly cut the grass. To prevent damage, always be aware of objects in your path and never drive over any object with the mowing deck lowered. John Deere lawn tractors will damage wet and muddy grassy area due to the weight and tire patterns.

Hauling

• It is essential that you read the owner's manual for your tractor model to learn the weight capacities the tractor can pull. Never try to pull any heavier objects as it will cause transmission and axle damage. Refrain from pulling trailers on angled surfaces as it may cause both the trailer and tractor to tip.
