How to Test Hose Pressure

Knowing the water pressure available in a garden hose is useful in determining the optimal hose size necessary for effective watering and irrigation of gardens, as well as for determining the grade and quality of hose you need. Typically a home system may be able to deliver anywhere between 9 and 23 gpm (gallons per minute) to a hose. Determine your actual pressure with the right tool.
