How to Start an Automatic Homelite Super XL

The Automatic Super XL is a chainsaw made by Homelite, which has been making lawn equipment like blowers, mowers and gas trimmers since the early 1920's. The Super XL has a two-cycle gas-powered motor that runs on an oil-gas mixture. It features a primer bulb, adjustable choke and a sturdy case. A recoil starter rope is used to start the Super XL. Once the saw is filled with gas, pull the recoil starter rope manually to start the saw.
