How to Put a Belt on a Scotts 2546 H Mower

The Scotts 2546 H riding lawn mower uses a belt to power the mowing blades. The belt transfers power from the engine pulley to the mowing deck to engage the blades. Over time, the belt can wear out and become cracked or stretched. If the belt is not operating properly, the mower may not cut as well as it should, or the blades may not engage at all. Replacing the belt usually takes about an hour.
